How many guests can be accommodated?
The Lake Marquee can seat up to 200 guests (space for 250 for evening party) Ceremony locations are licensed to accommodate up to 85 guests.
Can you recommend good local wedding suppliers?
There are a number of people who we can personally recommend to supply the cake, flowers, cars, disco, music, photographer, and bar. You can find a list of these here
What happens if it rains?
Good weather is never guaranteed, but at Chippenham Park, the weather need not play havoc with your special day. The drinks reception can be held inside the Tharp Hall and the Old Ballroom before progressing to the marquee.
How much will it cost?
Costs vary according to the day and season of the wedding date. The average venue fee for a wedding in spring and summer 2013 is approximately £5,500 but off-peak is much less.

How and when should I contact the registrar?
Your preferred wedding date, and ceremony time, should be confirmed with the registrar as soon as possible. Our local registry office is Ely Registration office in Ely, Cambridgeshire, telephone 0345 045 1363.

How easy is it to get to you?
We are located just off the A14 and A11 on the Cambridgeshire Suffolk border just north of Newmarket, close to Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and Ely. We are easily accessible from central London, and the major London airports. See map for more details
