Let’s talk May weddings…
We adore the gardens throughout the whole year from Spring to Summer, Autumn then Winter. However, Beccy, our Events Manager does have a soft spot for the beautifully pristine May days. Everything is fresh and popping! As it’s such a beautiful day today, we thought we would treat you to a flashback from Lee and Ellie’s wedding held in the exquisite month of May. Captured perfectly, as always, by Especially Amy Photography.
As with all our couples, these two were a dream to work alongside for their big day. They chose a 2pm ceremony at the ‘Gazebo’, the stunning mosaic floor outside ceremony area encased by yew trees on the lawn in front of the house. The weather was perfect, the scene was set and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Ellie walked out of the white double french doors to meet her groom. Ellie was serenaded as she made her entrance by the talented Otis West, the couple then had a very rememberable exit song of ’99 problems’ by Jay-Z as they led their guests to the drinks reception. From tears to roaring laughter – it definitely was a ceremony to remember.
A wonderful wedding breakfast was held in the marquee with a view of the lake. A very hysterical game of ‘Mr and Mrs’ played out during the speeches and everybody partied long into the evening. Weddings like this one seem so far ago now but we are feeling super optimistic and excited about this Summer. Here’s to 2021 and celebrating all of the love!
